Tenerife.

Of all the reasons why Tenerife is such a popular holiday destination, it is possibly the prevailing Spring-like climate that tops the list. With an average annual temperature of 22 degrees, the local population and those who visit the island appreciate this true gift of nature. The mild climate has created particularly striking and original surroundings, and thanks to a manageable area (2,034 square kilometres) it is easily possible to discover the island during a stay of a few days. Tenerife is a collection of beautiful natural spaces, from cliffs several hundred metres high, to small villages lost in valleys, to colourful marine depths. Such beauty means half of the territory is protected by strict environmental regulations, which ensure its conservation.

Tenerife allows you to mentally distance yourself from the everyday work setting without having to travel long-distance. It is only a two hour plane journey from Mainland Spain and four main European cities. Two international airports equate to around 150 flight connections operated by close to a hundred different airline companies.

Tenerife North airport is 15 minutes from Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Tenerife South is one of the busiest aerodromes in Spain and is 10 minutes from the municipalities of Arona and Adeje, the two largest tourist centres in this part of Tenerife.

In addition Santa Cruz de Tenerife is one of the most important ports for cruise ships in both Spain and Europe. More than half a million cruise passengers pass through the port each year. Two modern motorways, an extensive road network, an integral bus service and a tramway between Santa Cruz and La Laguna – the two largest cities on the island -, complete the land communications hub, making it possible to travel around the island with ease.
